Very desirable example of this classic Sporter. Kick-Off recoil system, Switchable Extract/Eject mechanism, HP Steel proofed, Optima Barrels, x6 Extended Chokes, Manufacturers ABS Motor case.
The ventilated barrels are unblemished, save for some minor loss of finish which is hidden by the front of the fore-end. There is a 10mm wide ventilated rib with a white bead sight up front. The internal bore is mirror-like and appears new. The barrels lock firmly onto the face with no discernible play. The barrel selector and safety are positive and firm in action. The safety does not auto-activate on cocking. This model features a switchable system to enable the ejectors to be switched off, making the gun into a manual extractor (see video).
The grain of the stock and fore-end are well figured and coloured and are both blemish free. There is a handmade and foam lined presentation box that holds the 6 Optima HP extended chokes and choke key.
