Well figured and coloured stock, 30" Barrels, 2015 (CN), Proofed CIP 'S' .
A sought after 690 Field in good condition.
The blacking of the barrels is good, save for some loss of finish to the end of the muzzles, bottom barrel and to the areas normally hidden by the forend.
There is a ventilated 6mm rib with a white metal bead sight up front. The top rib has suffered a knock (see photo's), 13" from the breech and the price has been adjusted to reflect this.
The stock has strikingly figured grain and a good depth of colour and the chequering is well defined. A rubber butt pad is fitted and the appearance of the gun would benefit if this was replaced.
The trigger is crisp and the ejectors are strong and the safety/barrel selector switch is also crisp in operation.
The engraved action depicts a woodland scene with a game bird in flight.
